This week we're celebrating another year of strong growth at Narrow Quay HR. We've reached the end of our financial year and we couldn't be prouder of what we've achieved! While it's natural to focus on the numbers and milestones achieved, what really matters to us is the collective effort and hard work that has fuelled our growth together with the relationships we've nurtured and the impact we've had on the organisations we work with. When we got together for our team catch up this week, two things stood out. The first was how adaptable the team are, constantly willing to evolve and change the way that we do things in order to grow and improve. The second was that whilst we did take a moment to reflect on our achievement, we quickly moved on to thinking about what's on the horizon. This is not a team that rests on its laurels and long may that continue! Thank you team Narrow Quay HR for all your hard work! #NarrowQuayHR #TeamWork #TeamAppreciation #TeamSuccess #HRCommunity #CompanyCulture

The judgment of the High Court, in the case of R -v- Michaela Community Schools Trust was handed down on 16 April, relating to the prohibition of prayer rituals on school premises. Although the school, the subject of the case, was a secular secondary free school, the decision will be of interest to all schools in clarifying their Equality Act duties. The judgment includes useful suggestions as to how schools should approach the setting of policies which might have discriminatory effect, and ensuring that they are proportionate. Join us for our #free #webinar where we will be joined by Miriam Carrion Benitez, a barrister at the The 36 Group, to consider the detail of the case and what it means for all schools.
