Safeguarding Training
August 2018
Safeguarding INSET Update
There has been a raft of safeguarding developments over recent months, with revisions to the key statutory guidance for schools and, for those of you whose schools are also charities, new safeguarding guidance from the Charity Commission too.
Schools are required to keep staff updated on safeguarding changes, and no doubt many of you will be planning training on the changes for inset sessions next week.
We have prepared a summary of changes that we hope will be useful, either as part of a script or as a follow up note for staff - please click the button below.

We expect the final version of the new KCSIE guidance on Monday 3rd September, and you will need to ensure that you arrange for staff to read the revised Part 1 (and Annex A where applicable) and that you have mechanisms in place to help them understand this.
For My OnStream clients, the new e-learning modules covering KCSIE Part 1 are available and will be updated with the final guidance as soon as it arrives. If you are not subscribed but would be interested in the e-learning we have available, please get in touch.
