Following our December 2020 update, we have updated our Safer Recruitment Pack once again to keep you up to date on the latest legal and best practice changes.

What's Changed?
Overseas Teaching Sanctions:
As of 1 January 2021 candidates who have taught overseas should be required by schools to provide a letter of professional standing as part of pre-employment vetting for UK teaching positions.
KCSIE
: The DfE has published an amended version of KCSIE for consultation purposes, and is seeking views on the proposed changes. The consultation version contains substantial amendments to Part 3 (Safer Recruitment).
